“What makes us think we are the ones who are going to make a difference?”

Someone needs to take the initiative to introduce a new model for cooperative human relations and progressive democratic interaction. If the desired model is not yet being enacted then why are we waiting for anyone other than ourselves to provide the real alternative? Who do we expect to step forward? As responsible citizens it is our duty to start a dialogue within our local and surrounding communities focused at finding common grounds for development. We must present viable options, voice our ideas; we have to be the ones to present a better situation and work to develop it into realization; if not us than whom? It has always been the people who have tried that made the most significant changes; the people who don’t try usually accomplish nothing at all.
